We were torn between having a Great British Bake-Off, A BBQ, A Chile Cook-Off, and going to all watch the fireworks together, so ultimately we decided, why not do all four?

Join us at The Tudor House for Cooking Contest Day, a full-day celebration of food, friends, and friendly backstabbing as we compete as if we were being insulted by Gordon Ramsay himself.

If you have not attended before, you must go to www.thetudorhouse.org to fill out the application and complete the vetting/vouching process before your RSVP will be accepted.

??The Competitions
We’ll have four main food contests:

The Bake-Off
Bring your best baked good. Cakes, cookies, pies, breads, pastries, and little dessert experiments are all welcome. If it came from an oven and you’re proud of it, it counts!

The BBQ Battle
Grill up your best grilled, smoked, sauced, seasoned, or otherwise fire-adjacent masterpiece. Meat, veggies, sides, anything goes! We’re not here to limit your barbecue dreams. You can either grill here or bring your dish ready to go.

The Chili Cook-Off
Beans or no beans. Spicy or mild. Traditional or new-fangled. Bring your chili pre-made and prepare to defend your choices with your whole chest.

Cupcake Decorating
We’ll provide the unfrosted cupcakes. You bring your imagination, your artistic flair, and whatever decorating supplies you want to use.

You may enter one category, multiple categories, or none at all. Showing up to eat and cheer people on is also a sacred and important role. ;)

??Afterward: Fireworks
Once we have eaten too much, judged our friends, and made passionate declarations about chili texture, those who want to can head out together to watch the fireworks by the lake, and then head back to The Tudor House about an hour later to continue the fun.

?? The Play Space
The play space and dungeon will be open all night.
Equipment includes:
St. Andrew’s Cross & spanking bench
Chain spiderweb & stockades
Liberator
Reverse & coffin glory holes
Over 300sqft of beds
