On Friday, June 19th, we are trying something new at The Tudor House.

We’re calling it Experimentation Night, which sounds very official and scientific and definitely not like Ash and Ivy just came up with an excuse to teach people how to hit each other more safely in the hopes that someone would hit them at a later date.

This first one is all about impact.
Spanking, paddles, floggers, crops, hands, thuddy things, stingy things, things that go thwap. :)

We’ll start the night with a brief educational talk led by Ash and Ivy covering the basics:
Where it is generally safer to hit
Where you should absolutely not hit
How to warm someone up
How to build intensity slowly without going overboard.
How to use your hands and toys with some level of control
How to negotiate before anyone starts swinging anything
Then, once we’ve covered the important “please do not damage your friends” portion of the evening, people who are newer to impact will have a chance to try things out in a guided, low-pressure environment.

This is a night for learning, experimenting, asking questions, trying things carefully, and figuring out what you like without being thrown into the deep end.
Experienced people are welcome too. Come refresh your basics, practice with newer partners, or simply enjoy watching someone discover the joy of being hit with a stick.

You do not need to bring your own toys to participate, though you are welcome to bring impact toys if you have them and want to use them. We’ll have some basics available for demonstration and guided practice. The dungeon and playspace will be open for play after the experimentation portion of the evening is finished.

As always, consent comes first. Negotiate, check in, and respect limits.
