I'll try to compress this. Wife was brought up Christian and conservative. We shuffled that off a few years back and are now agnostic and liberal.
At 17 or so, she came close to having her first kiss, with her female best friend. She said no because she wanted her first kiss to be with a male, but she told me that she was excited about the idea. Within the past year or so, it's come out that she is still bi-curious, and very recently we had an extended talk about it. She's still fighting her upbringing, and I told her that nobody has to know about it. She's afraid that if she experiments with a woman, she's going to love it and then she'll have to admit that she's bi. For her, that's a label change, and she thinks everyone is going to look at her differently. I fully support her experimentation and I want her to see it through. If she's bi, she's bi, and she may as well embrace it. I've told her to go online and find someone, even if she can't find anyone in real life through her circle, and start out by doing cybersex. If she likes that, go for an in-person meetup, just the two of them. A bi friend of mine said that'd be a fine way to break the ice. My main question for y'all is - did any of you (bi women) get into bisexuality similarly? Like you were nervous as hell and thought it was taboo? If yes, how did you feel after the first experience? Did it rock your world so that you immediately identified as bi, or was it a slower process where it took several experiences to embrace your bisexuality? I genuinely believe she needs to accept who she is. I just recently got out of her the kind of porn she likes to watch. We were texting at the time. She said she was shaking and close to crying, telling me that. I had no problem with it at all. The issues are all in her head, and I imagine she can't be alone. Any thoughts?
