It is not often, and being in the lifestyle it is bound to happen to everyone. But wouldn't be nice to have a forum where we could alert each other of potential fake or flakey profiles? I mentioned this in a previous post that I responded to a message, chatted with the couple for several weeks about what they wanted, their expectations of the ren de vous and all parties seemed to be good to go. I had to travel out of town to meet them, so gas, food, and an Airbnb was secured so they could be discreet in their town. Well the day of, and just a few hours before we were to meet they canceled. I know people have lives and things happen, but no explanation, then they blocked me, and ghosted me on text. A few other profiles I could tell right away that they were trying to scam for money and cut them off, but would have loved to be able to warn others. A few months ago, the same thing, couple reached out, we exchange messages, then texts to feel each other out. I even spoke to the husband on the phone several times so he could go over their rules of engagement. Again, I traveled (only 40 miles) and secured a room in the same place they stayed as we were to get together after a party at 10pm. Well, by 10:30, I became suspicious, I text at 11:00, then 11:30, then I knew they had flaked on me.
I read a post from another member, and I agree with them: "It would be nice and maybe there is a place where you can warn people about a particular person or couple not being who they said they are or are just someone people would want to stay clear of. Like freaks, weirdos and especially guys who all of a sudden become possessive and almost stalk you. Blocking them may fix your issue with them but how do you warn others." What do others think about this?
