We very seldom reach out to single females, but we made an exception this week to one who's profile seemed a real match in a town we will be visiting soon. We sent a nice opening note and asked her to check us out and let us know if there was mutual interest in more communication?
Her response was "You look like a wonderful couple. Would love to meet. However, I am half of a couple. I don't play without him present unless he says go for it when hes unavailable. If youd be interested in mtg us both, let me know." Us: Does he play or he only watches you play with others? Her: He plays (of course). Now he may be a wonderful guy and we might have hit it off with them as a couple (couples are our usual preference), but the fact there is no mention of him in the "SF" profile, no stats of him, and no photos of him, gives us exactly ZERO to decide if there could be an interest in him. Couple that with the fact they are playing a bait & switch game (e.g. plain fucking dishonest in representation) equals HARD PASS.
