I have been a media, TV and photography school teacher for almost 20 years so I created a method that anyone can use to take better pictures.
I call this the DEBauCH method. This method uses five core pictures to tell your story as a couple and grab people's interest within a few seconds. Remember, your objective is to make a couple think you are sexy and "like them." Duplicate pictures or pictures that don't move you to that goal should not be used. DEBauCH stands for: DATE, EVENT, BEACH, CHICK, HIM. All pictures in the DEBauCH method must be full-body. DON'T TAKE SELFIES. Find a waitress, a passer-by or a friend to take these pictures. If you have a messy house, CLEAN IT UP or go to a hotel to take pictures. The best picture can be ruined by a messy bedroom. DATE: This picture shows the other couple how you will dress if you meet for a date. You should be dressed like you are going to a nice restaurant or church. This translates to a nice dress and heels for the lady and polo and nice pants or sport coat for the man. Dress to impress. EVENT: This should be a picture of you doing something interesting. Go rock climbing. Sign up for a 5K. Go hiking. Go to a baseball game. Go skiing. Take a picture in Paris. If you have a motorcycle, this is where you have the two of you on it. The whole idea here is that another couple who likes baseball or Paris or motorcycles instantly feels like they have something in common with you. A BEACH picture. This tastefully shows off your bodies. The man should be shirtless. No access to a beach? Go to a hotel and ask to pay "Day rate." Use the pool and have someone take pictures. Your default picture should be one of the D-E-B series. Periodically take new pictures and rotate them out. Fresh pictures bring more attention. We take new pictures every two weeks or so and delete the old ones. Finally, you need a full-body picture of the CHICK and a picture of HIM. These pictures can be a little sexier. NO SELFIES! NO MIRROR PICTURES. Keep it classy. Never take a picture giving the middle finger. Don't pose with a cigarette, a gun, a fish or a dead animal. A lot of these things are deal breakers for people. Be careful with "hi-low" pictures. If the lady is wearing an evening gown, the guy should be wearing a suit. If the lady is in beach attire, the guy should be as well. The picture won't look right if the lady is in an amazing dress and heels, and the guy is wearing a Harley Davidson cutoff and cargo shorts, Don't post pictures if your hairstyle or color is radically different in each picture. The same goes for men and beards. If you have a beard, all pictures should have a beard. If you are clean-shaven, all pictures should be clean-shaven. Most women will reject you if they have a beard preference and they don't know which guy is going to show up. Finally, you need to smile in your pictures. Yes both of you. Yes, in every picture.
